Amberly Winfrey is a vocalist, teacher, and songwriter from Cincinnati, OH. Her first singing experiences were as a child at home and in church. Here she sang in the choirs directed by her parents and grandmother. Gospel and Christian music she learned in church, while at home her parents infused her with soul, funk, 80s and 90s r&b, jazz, and rock.
Amberly has taught ages 6-15 at institutions like NKU Music Preparatory Department, Mainstage Musical Theater and NKU Music Prep’s after school and summer programs. She also taught a wide range of students while studying at Belmont and as a Vocal Instructor at the Nashville School of Rock. Here she taught private lessons, directed show choirs, and taught group classes for 3 years.
Since completing her Masters degree in Commercial Voice Performance, at Belmont University, Amberly has also continued to pursue diverse musical experiences in her own writing and performance. Those experiences include singing lead and background vocals for various acts in and around Nashville and the surrounding areas.
