Lael has been officially asked to be the 1st chair drummer for the incredibly talented, multi-instrumentalist, Jake Clayton and his band! The band has several tours set up for the summer of 2017, where they’ll be all over the country playing festivals and other gigs in support.

The Pete Anderson band will be hitting the road March 12th with dates starting on the 13th in Tucson, AZ at The Hotel Congress. The tour takes them through the great state of Texas with dates all across including the notable Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX on 15th. The tour reaches the east coast for the Nashville PBS TV show “Music City Roots” on the 19th and The Country Music Hall of Fame on the 22nd! They then head back through Louisiana and Texas for additional shows on their way back to LA.

Lael’s first gig as the drummer for Pete Anderson is Monday, 11/4/13 at The Moose Lodge in Burbank, CA. He’ll cut his teeth here with the group. Jack Maeby on keys and, of course, Pete Anderson on guitar, vox and harmonica. On 11/6/13 Lael and the band head up to Vancouver and back. The tour is over two weeks, with stops along the way in Santa Rosa and Folsom, CA…as well as Seattle, WA, Portland and Eugene, OR and many more. Other national dates are also being booked for 2014. Lael has picked up a ‘subbing’ gig with the guitar legend Pete Anderson. Pete’s band is a roots’y blend of blues, funk, country, cajun and more. Don’t miss gigs local to LA starting in early November, 2013. Tour dates can be found at Pete’s website.
Pete Anderson is a multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning Producer and groundbreaking guitarist, who melds blues and country to forge a style all his own. Known as a pioneer in the roots-rock genre and an early champion of the Americana movement, he had a hand in introducing the world to artists such as Michelle Shocked, Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, Rosie Flores and perhaps most famously, his musical partner of 20 years, Dwight Yoakam.
Pete is also a renowned bandleader who has played over 3,000 live shows in upwards of 15 countries around the world and has appeared on Saturday Night Live, David Letterman, and The Tonight Show (19 times since 1986). Pete has released 5 critically acclaimed solo records on his own label Little Dog Records with another one in the pipeline.

Lael is the newest member to the blues/jam band Jimmy Jax Pinchak Band! Jimmy is not only a great blues guitar player but also a great actor. You can see him in episodes of shows like CSI and Brothers and Sisters, to name a couple.He’s also in the highly anticipated movie, Ender’sGame, which is scheduled for release on November 1st! Jimmy’s band has a couple of festival shows coming up over the Memorial Day Weekend. Go to the website linked below for exact dates and times.
Lael joined the LA based indie/folk duo called Byzantium. Lael say that “Taylor Kinney and Benjamin Leyland are two of the most incredible song writers I’ve ever heard, let alone had the pleasure to work with.” Now the quintet of bass, drums, acoustic guitar, keys and banjo/mandolin is playing the LA area. He’s played thousands of gigs in a variety of different bands who’s styles include: country, blues, rock, jazz, reggae and jam.
